I have always had a love and passion for dogs and all animals since I was a kid. I don’t think there has ever been a time in my life where I didn’t have a dog. I always wanted to work with dogs, but nobody would take a chance on me with no professional experience. I applied for a doggy daycare position back in 2021 and got the job! I learned so many things about dogs during the 2 years I worked there. I quickly learned that my dream is to own my own doggy daycare some day. I wanted to offer daycare with grooming. I started to dabble into grooming by family and people in town letting me practice on their dogs. One day I was dropping my girls off at their groomer and we got to talking and she ended up asking me if I wanted to work with her and her teach me how to groom. I sat on this for nearly 2 months and decided to just go for it. I started grooming maybe 2 days per week for a couple of months, then took a HUGE leap of faith and quit my pharmacy job to be a dog groomer full time! This was truly the best thing I could have done for myself and for my family. I love what I do!
